Anián MFG - The Modern Melton Wool - Olive
One of Anián's favourite things about post-consumer recycled wool is its versatility—it can be woven into hardy, weather-resistant shirts like their Modern Melton or lighter, more breathable fabrics like the brand-new Berlino. A laidback button-up for the warmer weather of spring, the Berlino has the same tailored fit as their Melton, but with a softer hand and more casual drape; durable enough for outdoor wear, it’s manufactured in a unique, dye-free process that saves water and eliminates the need for harmful chemical dyes. The design has matte grey buttons, two chest pockets and a curved hem, and the left pocket has a flap and pencil sleeve for weekday work or weekend projecting. A double yoke lies comfortably on the shoulders, and a box pleat allows more freedom of movement across the back.
Anián's traditional tailored fit has a moderately slim cut; to wear the Berlino as an overshirt, or to fit a more robust frame, they recommend moving up one size. For further details, see the sizing chart.
Wash in cold water and hang to dry. To reduce energy and water use, we recommend washing only when necessary. Less washing also gives your garments a longer life.
